Keto Pesto with Bone Broth

This isn't really pesto. To be honest, I'm not really sure what's in real "pesto" sauce, but I've for sure had pasta with pesto sauce in my life. This recipe reminds me of that- a lot. Being on a ketogenic diet, it's not easy to come by comfort meals that combine creamy flavorful sauce a top a bed of anything even resembling pasta, but this comes shockingly close.

Ingredients;

  • Shiritaki "Miracle Noodles" Fettucine
  • One Hass Avocado
  • One Cup of Bone Broth (I like Kettle and Fire's Chicken Bone Broth)
  • A generous pinch of good sea salt
  • Broccoli Sprouts

Heat your bone broth over a stove top. When hot, pour into blender with a whole avocado and a big ol pinch of sea salt. Save a little bone broth in the pot and after draining, add your fettucine and let simmer. Pour the noodles into a bowl with the broth and cover with your blended avocado, bone broth "sauce." Garnish with broccoli or alfalfa sprouts for added texture and nutrition. Crush some extra sea salt to taste and Bon' appetite!
